Zacatlán Restaurant

Rooted in Tradition,
Inspired by the Southwest
Zacatlán is a place to gather, to share, and to taste the heart of Mexico and the Southwest.
Here, we believe food brings people together. Our menu blends the flavors of Chef Eduardo Rodriguez’s roots in Zacatecas with the ingredients and spirit of Santa Fe. The result is food that feels both familiar and new—made to be enjoyed in good company.
Since opening, Zacatlán has been honored by the James Beard Foundation, first as Best New Restaurant and most recently with Chef Rodriguez’s nomination for Best Chef: Southwest. For us, these recognitions are a reflection of the care we put into every dish and every guest experience.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, our table is open. Come share a meal and feel at home.

The Spirit of Zacatlán
Our story begins with Chef Eduardo Rodriguez, who grew up in Zacatecas, Mexico—“the land where grass grows.”When he came to Santa Fe as a teenager, he carried with him the flavors and traditions of his childhood, blending them with the spirit of his new home.
Decades later, Zacatlán was born. Just off the Santa Fe Plaza, we’ve created a space where food is about more than eating, it’s about connection to people and place. Every dish is a conversation between past and present, tradition and creativity, Mexico and the Southwest.
"For the past 24 years, I have been tilling the soil to harvest the dream of having my own restaurant."
Eduardo Rodriguez, Chef & Owner
